Here at STC, children don’t just perform—they experience theatre as it was meant to be learned. Every class is led by professionally trained instructors who focus on the fundamentals of live performance: storytelling, collaboration, discipline, and creativity. Even though we meet just once a week, we strive to give students an authentic rehearsal and production experience, using practical sets, real props, and intentional stagecraft to bring stories to life. This traditional, hands-on approach helps kids develop confidence, problem-solving skills, and a true understanding of how theatre works beyond the spotlight. We intentionally keep our programs affordable so more families in our community can participate in high-quality theatre education without added financial stress. By creating theatre the “old-fashioned” way, we don't just give students a role, we give them a foundation they can carry with them onstage and off.
