Auditions
Showcase classes are advanced level, audition-only courses
designed to challenge students with a quicker pace, more intense skills development, and higher performance expectations.
ONE Showcase Musical Theatre classes performing Disney's Newsies Jr
are offered this Spring, ages 10-18
We are so excited to announce auditions for the Showcase Cast (audition only) of our fall musical,
Disney's Newsies!!
There will only be ONE Showcase Cast this fall, taught by Ms Kimbur and Ms Danni, on Thursdays 6-8pm. *No registrations will be accepted for this advanced level class at this time--all members of this class must go through the audition process outlined below and be CAST in the Showcase production.
For those interested in having your student(s) audition for the Showcase cast, here is some important information and dates:

Email kimbur@seedlingtheatrecompany.com to be added to the Newsies Audition Slack Workspace (This is where all of the information for the auditions will be posted)

Auditions are for students ages 10 - 18

May 10 audition materials will be available on our Newsies Audition Slack Workspace

June 10 audition videos are due by 10:00 pm

June 17 callbacks will be announced; those called back will be contacted individually for a live audition to be scheduled on June 24

June 24 callbacks will be held at Seeding Theatre Company
Auditions are a two-part process for the fall semester. Each student auditioning will need to submit an audition video in a direct message to Ms. Kimbur AND Ms. Danni through the Newsies Audition Slack Workspace by June 10. After reviewing the videos, Ms. Danni and Ms. Kimbur will determine who will be called back for a live audition at the theater on June 24.
We continue to communicate through Slack here at Seedling so all the audition material will be posted in our Newsies Audition Slack Workspace. Please send an email to kimbur@seedlingtheatrecompany to request being added to that workspace.
IMPORTANT:
* Registration for Fall classes will start on Sunday, May 15th on our website. If you are auditioning for Showcase, please register for your second choice class day/time in order to secure a spot in another class in the event that you do not make it into the Showcase class. If you ARE cast in Showcase, we will simply transfer your payment over.
